Black Models That Rocked in 2019

2019 definitely was the year in which women embraced their individuality in full. It was so refreshing to see women of different backgrounds, races and sizes represented in main stream media. It made me feel hopeful for the new decade we are about to embark on. The idea for this post was born after I discovered South Sudanese-Australian model, Adut Akech Bior. I watched the interview she had with The Business of Fashion and I was so drawn to how elegant and honest she is. 

Once I found her, I soon discovered several other black models that made me even more proud of my blackness. There are so many other black women doing incredible things in their respective fields and they deserve just as much admiration too.
