Our Story

At Kim Dave, we understand the quiet doubts that come with pursuing a life of purpose. Our story begins with one such moment, when our founder, Priscillia Okpan, born and raised in Southern Nigeria, chose to follow her inner calling.

Originally trained as a microbiologist, Priscillia made a bold, life-altering decision to move to London alone and study fashion. While adjusting to a new culture and a new industry, she worked in retail, saving diligently to fund what would become her dream: a fashion brand rooted in identity, intention, and craft.

In October 2019, Kim Dave was born with its first collection, “Festival.” Built on savings, vision, and resilience, the brand became a vessel for storytelling, an invitation to dress with meaning and confidence.

Today, Kim Dave offers ready-to-wear fashion that embodies quiet luxury, cultural depth, and timeless femininity.Our garments are crafted in small batches or made to order, using high-quality materials and sustainable practices. Each piece is a sculptural expression of Southern Nigerian heritage, particularly the rich traditions of the Urhobo tribe, from which Priscillia draws inspiration.

While the region she hails from is often overshadowed by stories of unrest or poverty, Kim Dave exists to reframe the narrative, to celebrate the artistry, strength, and sophistication embedded in our culture. Every garment tells a story of self-belief, of heritage honored, and of luxury not defined by logos but by legacy
