On Saturday 23rd May, I got to host an intimate launch event to celebrate the official release of Maker Mode; the sewing planner that helps makers create in control.

Since it's warm this time of year, I thought a dreamy garden party theme was very fitting. Also each guest was encouraged to wear something they've made, to fit the 'maker' vibe of Maker Mode.

The day started off with a hands on feel of the final version of the Maker Mode planner. I love how everyone had amazing feedback as they browsed through the different sections of the planner.

Then I got us all to note down our sewing intentions, wardrobe goals and techniques we'd love to master this year. These are questions from the introductory pages of the planner.

We then got to enjoy a spread of savoury and sweet pasties kindly provided by Gail's Bakery.

This fueled us all for the draping contest which got everyone into their competitive elements!

This was my first brand/launch event and I'm so thankful to all who were present. Special thanks to Gail's Bakery for ensuring we were fed on the day, the scones were so yummy!
The day was truly memorable and I got to hear some insightful feedback + tips of how to make Maker Mode even better.
xx Kim
